Life outside

A couple of weeks ago the girls and I went to my grandparents house for the weekend. I just love going there of course to spend time with them but also to enjoy country life. We don't get to do that often and I think it is important to take time to relax and get away from all of the craziness that is world offers. My Grandparents live in a small town called King William about 45 mins outside of Mechanicsville. It takes us about 1.5 hrs to get there. They live on about 300 acres I believe and there is a lot of history on their property and the properties around them. My papa owns 3 mules and 1 horse along with some dogs. In his younger years they owned cows, pigs, chicken you name it they had it. I think Mackenzie's favorite part is going to see the mules and horses. That is all she talks about on are way there and all she talks about while we are there. Emma is a huge fan of the out doors as well but with her not walking I have opted to let her stay inside that I am able to enjoy it more. She is not a big fan of sitting on the grass so typically she has to be held the whole time which is very tiring after a while.
