Now its time to throw it

Taking a break to play in the sand
So glad I had my friend with me because I was not able to go in that water. The cold never seems to bother Mackenzie but I am not a fan of it.

Painting time

I tried letting the kids paint with there feet and hands outside. Mackenzie enjoyed it but her friend insisted on staying clean and opted to use a stick instead =)

Spring break

Well even though Mackenzie doesn't have a spring break because she isn't in school yet she has friends who are so we spent last week doing a variety of things and had a blast. The weather has been gorgeous out but of course last week most days were cold. We did get enjoy one day though going to the beach. Each year I find it more enjoyable as my kids get older and are able to enjoy it themselves more.
On Tuesday we went to Busch Gardens for the first time with Mackenzie and it will def be on our list of things to do during the summer. Virginia has a preschool pass for kids ages 3-5 that you can print out and use for the kids all summer so she is able to get in for free. I am really looking forward to Emma getting older so she can enjoy these things with us as well.
I did take her to the beach with us and it was her first time. She was quite entertained by the sand but wasn't sure what to do with it. Most kids eat it but she just kept feeling it in her hands.

Easter Weekend

This past Easter was especially special for me and it was filled with tons of activities. This was the first year really that Mackenzie was old enough to really participate and get excited about everything. First on Friday morning we started out with inviting some of Mackenzie's friends over and we did the following things the Easter story (using the egg and each represented different things) we make the resurrection rolls, which told the story about Jesus and then you got to eat them at the end. They were a huge hit with the kids. After that we had a egg hunt and then we dyed eggs and decorated them.
Saturday and Sunday were quite busy as our church had 5 services, 2 on Sat and 3 on Sun. I was at 4 of the 5 and each service had egg hunts for the kids so by the end of the week my daughter was a pro =). We had dinner at my parents house with some friends. I am so thankful for my family and our church. Mackenzie just loves going and is learning more and more about Jesus. She has learned one verse Love God with all your heart Matt 22:37 and is now working on Love friends at all time John 17:17. She has also learned a lot of bible songs as well. I hope you enjoy the pictures.
