Loralia
I can't believe Loralia is almost 2 months, time is just flying by. I have really learned with this pregnancy to sit back and relax and enjoy the little moments. I think with each child I have learned to do that more and more.
Loralia at her 1 month check up was
Length: 21 in a half inches long 50%
Weight: 9.3 40%
Head circumference 14in 15%
I personally feel like she resembles a lot of Mackenzie and her personality is a lot like hers as well. She is very easy going and pretty much only cries when she is hungry or when the girls are bothering her =). They love their sister. She is pretty regular with her feeding usually eating between 3.5 and 4 hours. She has recently started having a 5-7 hour stretch at night time which has been a huge answer to prayer. She has also proven to be my fastest eater. She will eat between 5-15 mins. I know that they can do that but I always thought that was once you were way older. I never expected that at 4-8 weeks.
The biggest concern I have had with her which none of my other girls experienced with was Jaundice. Although all my kids had it by 2 weeks of age it was no longer a concern. Loralai will be turning 8 weeks and is still fighting it. I have been putting her outside and giving her vitamin d drops per the Dr's request. We haven't really passed any major miles stones yet. She is starting to be up more during the day but it is usually not more than 30 mins at time. She usually will either be up for a little bit before or after eating. Her head is also getting stronger.
I don't know if its because she gets done eating so quickly but she does not spit up like the other girls have. On the other hand we are having to look into reflex and possibly putting on a prescription for that. She doesn't cry but she often times chokes while eating and coughs and has a hard time clearing it. It has been quite scary. There have been a few times where either she throws up and it comes up foamy or her face starts changing colors. I am so in love with this little girl and am so thankful God has given her to us. I am so excited to be a part of this journey.

Spring is here
I have been meaning to post this but since adding a new member to our family things have been a little busy. Last year was our first year having a garden and because it did so well we decided to try it again. This year has been especially fun because Mackenzie was really at a good age where she could help.
While we were clearing out the spot from last year we found a baby bunny. A hr later we found the nest were we discovered 3 more. We did eventually put them back in their nest after talking to a worker at our local wildlife shelter.
This was one of the many times that we went out and picked. This particular time we got around 18 cups. I went out 4 days later and got 30 cups. I was able to can for the first time and got 30 jars =)
Currently we have watermelon, Canteloupe, Tomatoes (both Cherry and the big ones), Green beans, Squash, Lettuce, Carrots,
