Circus

Last Sunday Travis and I had the opportunity to take Mackenzie to the circus. It was special for a couple reasons, Travis was able to go which is a very rare thing because he has to work so much. Also, it was the first time that Mackenzie had done anything like this before so we didn't know how she would do.The whole event was 2 hrs and 15 mins long so for a 20mo old I would say that is a long time to be sitting/watching a event. It was really neat to watch her and see how she would react watching the different events. I would have to say that the elephants were probably the thing she liked most then came the glow in the dark people that stood in these half circular object (shaped like a half moon) where they jumped up and down. I was really surprised that she didn't react more to the tigers. The first half of the event she had one or two little meltdowns but was easier redirected and got right back into the circus. The second half she only had one meltdown but she also only watched 2 events. Mackenzie is really into cleaning things so I gave her a baby wipe and she pretty much washed everything around us.
